The Forge of Darkness, Book III in The Darkness After Series will be available on May 17, both in the Kindle Edition and in Paperback. I’ve updated the cover since my last post, and here is a look at the final covers for both the ebook and paperback editions:
As with Into the River Lands, Book II of this series, I kept with the theme of an archer in silhouette, to make these books easily identifiable as sequels to the first book, published by Ulysses Press: The Darkness After
The archer of course, is Mitch Henley, the teen-aged expert with the traditional longbow who is one of the main protagonists of the series. Mitch puts his bow and arrows to good use again in the The Forge of Darkness, and the situation he and his friends find themselves in by the end of the book will require them to take their skills to a whole new level going forward. So will there be a Book IV? Certainly. But first I have Book IV of The Pulse Series to finish, and I’m gearing up to begin an entirely new post-apocalyptic series that I’m really looking forward to writing.
